Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has two months to appoint a new head of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) after the High Court in Pretoria declared the post vacant. In an unexpected turn, Judge President Dunstan Mlambo has ruled that Advocate Shaun Abrahams, the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), must vacate his seat.
