With time running out before the transition to new ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, Bureau Veritas’s unique virtual classroom facility offers an enhanced solution to help businesses across the UK deal with the changing requirements.
From the end of September, certificates for the ISO 9001: 2008 standard will expire and with the same deadline also applying for ISO 14001: 2004, this autumn could see many organisations left without the internationally-recognised certification for quality and environmental standards.
Aiming to make the changeover as smooth as possible for those affected, we have developed two fast-track transition courses delivered via our virtual classroom facility.
Virtual Classrooms by Bureau Veritas
Delivered in two, four-hour blocks, our transition programmes offer access to expert guidance from Bureau Veritas certification specialists – without the need to leave the home or workplace.
Sessions are conducted online, through a series of interactive exercises and activities designed to provide all the tools needed to make the transition a success. On completion of the course, delegates will gain a number of useful skills and competences, including: preparing for and delivering an ISO audit; identifying key changes within the new identification; and understanding any necessary management system amendments.
A range of course dates covering ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 transition are on offer from April until June. Places are available now at just £300 – with no need for any additional travel costs and time out the office kept to a minimum.
In addition to the two courses available, ISO 45001:2018 is just around the corner, and in support of this Bureau Veritas has developed a Virtual Classroom Auditor Transition course to support those organisations preparing to transition over to the new standard.
Oliver Dodd, UK Training Manager for Bureau Veritas, said: “Time has flown since the updated ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards were first published two years ago but now the clock is ticking for organisations that have not yet achieved certification to the new standards.
“The new virtual classroom courses are designed to help get delegates up-to-speed with the changes, as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Unlike with conventional e-learning, each course is led by a real tutor and is delivered live, which means delegates can ask questions and interact with the tutor and their fellow delegates.
“Our experienced team is already helping businesses across the UK to make a successful transition, with the added support of our LEAD website, and this is yet another added value solution which is driving efficiency and effectiveness for our clients.”
